Worldwide ERC®, the workforce mobility association, recently announced 147 of its members earned the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP®) designation after successfully passing the CRP® exam on May 18, 2016. Offered on an annual basis and held in 12 locations around the country, the exam tested 195 candidates on the disciplines of U.S. employee mobility, including corporate policies and programs, real estate, transferee counseling, and other services.
MSS is proud to announce that our very own April Vergara is one of this select group of people recently designated as a Certified Relocation Professional®. April is a Customer Service Team Leader and Training Supervisor at MSS and has brought dedication and excellence to all her work since joining us in 2001.
According to CRP® Certification Review Board Chairwoman Debra Mills, "For those looking to build a career in workforce mobility, earning this designation is an essential step along the way. Passing takes dedication, and a focused effort. Recipients have not only demonstrated a commitment to professional development, but a solid understanding of the complex variables that make up our industry."
The CRP® program was introduced in 1990 to formally recognize relocation professionals' knowledge of the U.S. workforce mobility process. There are currently over 3,400 Worldwide ERC® members who hold the CRP® designation. CRPs® retain their designation by maintaining membership in the association and earning 30 recertification credit hours within each three-year period following their initial certification, ensuring they remain current on evolving industry trends.
