MSS announced today the promotion of Mike Cordaro to the position of Corporate Sales Manager. Mr. Cordaro has been a key Corporate Sales Executive for MSS since joining the company and will continue to service his clients and customers in his enhanced role.
According to Tim Hughes, MSS President and CEO, “Mike’s leadership skills will be utilized in the oversight of select marketing campaigns and sales strategies and new business development initiatives which will give Mike and MSS even more exposure and support to our clients. Of course, Mike will foremost continue to manage his accounts as top priority.” Hughes said.
Mike Cordaro joined MSS in the fall of 2003 following six years of national account sales with Victory Van Lines. Prior to his work in the moving industry, Mr. Cordaro served ten years as an NYPD Detective during which he was awarded nine departmental recognition service awards and was hand-picked out of 38,0000 NYPD officers to be one of eight to serve on the Police Commissioner's Security Team. Mike also volunteered to assist in the clean up efforts after the 2001 attack on the World Trade Center.
During his tenure at MSS, Mr. Cordaro has earned numerous awards including The MSS President’s Award in 2008. This honor is the company’s top annual award presented to the MSS employee who demonstrates overall performance excellence and achieves the highest contribution to the organization’s long-term success. Mr. Hughes also remarked, “Mike has continued to take MSS to new levels of excellence on behalf of our clients; he is an invaluable resource.”
When asked about his new role, Mike responded, “I am excited to take on this challenge and look forward to being a member of the MSS Management Team. My clients’ needs will always take precedent and in this new role I will be able to work toward better meeting not only their needs, but also the needs of all MSS customers.”
Mr. Cordaro resides in Freehold, New Jersey with his wife, Michele; he has two daughters, Michele and Cristina.
