Matt Hasson
VP, Information Technology
Before joining MSS in 2000, Matt began his career as a software engineer in the industrial automation field. He also has experience in the Fintech space, having created software that focused on Options, Swaps, and other derivatives. At MSS he has held several roles, including Desktop Systems Lead, Software Engineering Manager, and Director of IT. His current duties include the budgeting and strategic implementation of the corporate IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs. In addition, Matt oversees the planning and discharge of all software systems across the entirety of the business.
In addition to his full-time work, Matt has been an adjunct professor, teaching various computer science classes at several colleges and universities in Pennsylvania. He holds degrees from Temple University, Gwynedd-Mercy University, and DeSales University. He also won the MSS Extra Mile Award 2019. He graduated from the Vistage Emerging Leader Program in 2020 and is currently enrolled in their Advancing Leader Program. In his spare time, Matt enjoys being a PIAA and American Legion baseball umpire and working on classic cars.
