Suzann Torpey
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining MSS, Sue spent 19 years as a CPA performing compilations, reviews, audits, and tax preparation for various small and medium-sized businesses. Sue began her relationship with MSS during this time, maintaining us as a client for 19 years before officially joining our team in 2003. Today as the CFO, Sue is responsible for all financial activity for the organization. She handles the management of all corporate and financial accounting, tax compliance, corporate tax preparation, and reporting to management of all financial and operational matters. She is also an instrumental member of our Fiduciary Committee and handles compliance matters for our 401K Profit Sharing Plan.
Sue holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kutztown University. Sue is currently still a practicing CPA and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She was named Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2019 CFO of the Year. She also won the MSS President’s Award 2005. Outside of the office, Sue loves hitting the beach, traveling, exercising on her Peloton bike, and spending time with her grandchildren.
