Sales Exec Brian Schaeffer Talks Capitol Hill on ProMover Podcast

Our very own Corporate Sales Exec Brian Schaeffer talked all things Moving Day on Capitol Hill during American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA)’s latest ProMover podcast. Alongside Steve McKenna of SIRVA Worldwide Relocation & Moving, Jason Moyer of Moyer & Sons Moving & Storage, Inc., and Rachel Peretz & Katie McMichael of AMSA, they offered insight and advice on what to expect when meeting with representatives of Congress.

This September, AMSA members from across the country will convene in Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Congress about the importance of the $85.7 billion moving and storage industry, and its contribution to the U.S. economy. AMSA member participation in our advocacy efforts is crucial to educating leaders and policymakers on the impact that legislation has on our industry.

When asked why it’s important for suppliers to attend Moving Day on Capitol Hill, Brian replied, “We need to support the movers in this industry in any way possible and this is one of the best ways we’ve found to do that.” INDEED!
